Remembering Things…

I’ve been reading through my old blog posts and it’s been really interesting! I love that I can go back and read about the things I did over the weekends and see Peanut growing up (in his monthly update posts). My last post about him was when he was 15 months old and he’s going to be five years old in a few weeks! I can’t believe how fast time has gone by.
We even have another little munchkin in the mix. I will introduce Smalls to the blog shortly. She is three months old today and I plan on doing a three month check up for her as well as posting her birth story.
We sold the house that I used to blog about and it’s been so fun to be able to look back and see what we did in the time that we were there. I’ve enjoyed reading my old check list of things I wanted to do and seeing what we actually got done and what we didn’t.
I also previously wrote a 101 in 1001 post and there are so many new things I can cross of the list now. I reread a little blurb where I wrote about where I envisioned my life in five years. Well, five years has past and two of the three things are real! I originally wrote the post when I was 25 years old and I will be 30 on January 9th. I wanted to have another kid (check), I wanted to be working part time (check), and I wanted this blog to be big and famous (LOL!). The blog part didn’t quite happen, but like I mentioned in another blog post of mine – this blog is as much for me as it is for the world. I have truly enjoyed reading back on my old posts. It’s definitely like a diary for me.
I need to figure out how to get on a schedule with blog posts so that I can be consistent, but for now I’m going to enjoy the Christmas season! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year. I’ll end this note with some pictures.
