In Lieu of Week’s End 04182014

I just have a couple things to blurt out. =]

First, we are getting our new coil for our HVAC unit today! Woohoo! Hopefully this completely solves our “too hot/too cold” dilemma!

Second, my mom is coming down to visit for a week! Yay!

Third, we are painting our kitchen (hopefully some time soon, it’s primed and ready) and I’m super excited! The kitchen is really the last of the downstairs home reno to tackle. We’ve completely redone the downstairs half bathroom and painted the hallway. I would like to paint the dining room and living room BUT it’s not a necessity, they’re totally fine the way they are. I originally wanted a yellow kitchen but then Hubs brought up a light green color and I’m really liking that too! We do eventually plan on painting the cabinets white (they’re currently builder grade oak) and I think light green would look really nice with that! I have a snap shot of some swatches down below so let me know what you think! I know they all look pretty similar so it’s hard to choose, I do like them all! The first green-ish color is the one Hubs is going for, the pale yellow next to it is the yellow I was originally going for, and the last (bottom) swatch is kind of a mix of the two up top. It’s almost a celery-yellow-green, which I also really like. HELP!
