In Lieu of Week’s End 12052014

Whew. I feel like I haven’t posted anything in a while! (Probably because I really haven’t.)

Somehow I’ve been super busy while doing nothing at the same time – ha! My weekends have been pretty filled with Christmas gift shopping so that I can be done and not have to worry about it. I’m actually almost done! I think I need to get four more things and I will be done done. :]

Peanut had his first non-family play date the other weekend and he had so much fun! I went over to my friend’s house (Megan at onpinsandneedlesnc). Her little guy is just the cutest and it was fun/funny to watch the boys play together. After Peanut got over being scared of her dog and her son got over grabbing for Peanut’s hair, they got along really well – ha! Peanut conked out that night from exhaustion!

Oh, our Thanksgiving was really nice! (Thanks for asking.) We spent it over at Hubs’ parents house. Peanut slept right through his first Thanksgiving meal, but that meant I could eat in peace so it was kind of a win-win. :]

We got our Christmas tree on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and it’s in the living room, set up, and ready to be decorated! (Hopefully we get to that this weekend.) I can’t believe it’s December, it’s almost Christmas, my little guy is almost one year old!!

I have a SUPER SIMPLE Winter/Christmas wreath tutorial that I want to post, so hopefully that’ll come early next week. You’ve probably already seen it done, so just pretend you haven’t and that it’s the coolest thing ever. ;]
